Any local lay person (including women) can be easily trained in a very short time to participate in building a Dwelling Unit (DU) using the Habitech-NivaraTantra technology
The local resident desiring to be owner of a DU becomes the manpower resource for building the DU. At least one person from the family registering for ownership of a house shall work in the project. However, multiple persons from a family are also eligible to work
State Government provides decided subsidy to the local person desirous of owning a DU and who enrolls to work in the project
The executing agency pays prescribed daily wages for the number of days the local resident works in the project. One DU, on an average takes about 90-120 days to be built
A required portion of the wages are paid in the government loan account of resident which becomes the initial contribution of required capital for availing subsidized loan extended by the participating financial institutions
